Following this, Jenner trained even harder, supported by his wife, Chrystie Crownover. From 1974 to 1976, Jenner won every competition he participated in, leading up to the 1976 Summer Olympics, where he set a new world record of 8,634 points and won the gold medal. In the same year, he received the James E. Sullivan Award for the best amateur athlete in the United States and the Associated Press Athlete of the Year award. After his Olympic success, Jenner appeared on an episode of ABC's "The American Sportsman" alongside Grits Gresham. He also starred in a Stair Climber Plus commercial in the early 1990s. In 2002, Jenner participated in the game show "Weakest Link," featuring only Olympic athletes. In 2003, Jenner appeared on the reality show "I'm a Celebrity...
