Biography of Cameron Johnson
Cameron Johnson is a young entrepreneur and millionaire who achieved remarkable success at a very early age. At the age of 9, he started his own greeting card business, creating invitation cards for various parties using Photoshop. His first clients were his parents, and soon orders started pouring in from friends, acquaintances, and his parents' colleagues. He named his company and website 'Cheers and Tears'.

At the age of 12, Cameron ventured into the toy business. He began by selling his sister's doll collection on eBay and his own website. Within a year, he was earning a staggering income of $50,000. His entrepreneurial spirit and business acumen were evident from a young age.

In his early teens, Cameron launched a new internet business called My EZ Mail. This service specialized in forwarding electronic mails to specific addresses while keeping the recipient's identity anonymous. Cameron hired a professional programmer to refine his idea, and within two years, My EZ Mail was generating a steady monthly income of around $3,000 from advertisements.

In 1997, Johnson collaborated with two other teenage entrepreneurs to create an advertising company called Surfingprizes.com. Users would download a program that displayed persistent advertisements at the top of their browser windows. In return for enduring the inconvenience, users received 20 cents per hour. They formed a classic pyramid scheme, earning 70% of the income while partnering with advertising giants like DoubleClick, L90, and Advertising.com, who received the remaining 30%.
At the age of 15, Cameron was receiving monthly checks of $300,000 to $400,000 from Surfingprizes.com. His next project, CertificateSwap.com, involved selling unwanted gift certificates. By offering a lower commission rate of 7.5% compared to eBay's 13%, Cameron and his friend Nat Turner found success with this simple pricing strategy. In 2004, CertificateSwap.com was sold for a six-figure sum.
Cameron's first million was earned before he finished high school. In 2007, he published his book, 'You Call the Shots: Succeed Your Way - and Live the Life You Want - with the 19 Essential Secrets of Entrepreneurship', which became a bestseller and was translated into multiple languages. His first book, '15-Year-Old-CEO', was published in Japan.
Today, Cameron Johnson is a well-known figure, with interviews featured in hundreds of print publications and appearances on television shows worldwide, including The Oprah Winfrey Show. In 2008, he became a finalist on the ABC program 'Oprah's Big Give', appearing in all eight episodes. He was named one of the Ten Outstanding Young Virginians in 2008 and received the Ten Outstanding Young Americans award from the U.S. Junior Chamber in 2009.
