Carlos Bernard Papierski, born on October 12, 1962, is an American television and film actor, best known for his role as Tony Almeida in the thrilling TV series "24".

Early Life and Education
Carlos Bernard was born and raised in Evanston, Illinois. As a young boy, he showed talent in various areas, including sports and art, but acting was always his true passion. He decided to combine his acting and artistic talents by attending the University of Illinois to become an animator.

Theater Career
After graduating, Carlos focused on his theater career and soon found himself performing in many Chicago theaters, including Shakespearean productions and various classic and contemporary plays such as "Hamlet," "As You Like It," "The Cherry Orchard," and "The Diary of Anne Frank." He later moved to Los Angeles and continued his theater work there.
Television and Film Career
In Los Angeles, Carlos caught the attention of film directors and began appearing in episodes of several TV series.
