Carlos Ghosn is a prominent figure in the world of modern business. He currently serves as the President and CEO of both Renault and Nissan, effectively leading the Renault-Nissan alliance. According to the American magazine "Fortune" and the British research group "Brodex", Ghosn was ranked first in the list of highest-paid executives in Europe. In 2006, he earned a staggering $45.5 million.

Early Life and Education
Carlos Ghosn was born in 1954 in Brazil and is of Lebanese descent. He is a Christian. In 1974, he graduated from the Higher Institute of Chemical Studies in Paris and later completed his education at the Higher School of Mines in 1978.
Career
Ghosn began his career at Michelin in December 1978. In December 1996, he was appointed as the Executive Vice President of Renault and later transferred to Nissan in June 1999. In 2000, he became the President and CEO of Nissan, and in April, he also took on the role of President and CEO of the Renault Group.
