Celina also has a brother who serves in the Indian army.

Due to her father's frequent transfers, Celina attended 12 different schools. Eventually, her family settled in Kolkata, where she spent most of her youth and attended college. As a child, she aspired to join the army like her father and become a pilot or military doctor.
