Joining Ash
Hatherley's talent caught the attention of Ash frontman Tim Wheeler. In 1996, she became the fourth member of the band. She played a pivotal role on their 1998 album, "Nu Clear Sounds," showcasing her impeccable guitar work and penning the memorable track "WildSurf."
Solo Success
In 2004, Hatherley ventured into solo artistry with the release of her debut album, "Grey Will Fade." This album marked a departure from Ash's sound, showcasing her versatility as a composer. Three tracks from the album, "Bastardo," "Kim Wilde," and "Summer," garnered critical acclaim, solidifying Hatherley's songwriting prowess.
