Early Life and Career Beginnings
Charlotte Perrelli started her career at the age of 13 when she joined a dance group in Hovmantorpe, Sweden. After completing her education, she moved to Växjö, where she attended a performing arts school. She also became a soloist in the group "Kendix" and later joined "Anders Engbergs" after releasing two albums. Eventually, she became a member of the band "Wizex." In 1998, the band was nominated for a Swedish Grammy for their album "Mot nya mål," and their album "Tusen och en natt" went gold.

Eurovision Success
In 1999, Charlotte Perrelli participated in Melodifestivalen, the Swedish selection for the Eurovision Song Contest, and won with her song "Take Me to Your Heaven." She went on to represent Sweden in the Eurovision Song Contest 1999 in Jerusalem, where she emerged as the winner. Following her victory, Charlotte Perrelli became famous and began performing all over Europe. She also released her debut solo album titled "Charlotte."

Continued Success and Eurovision Return
In 2001, she released her second album, "Miss Jealousy," which included the successful single "You Got Me Going Crazy." In 2003, Charlotte Perrelli became the host of the first semi-final of Melodifestivalen, the Swedish selection for Eurovision. She also participated in the Swedish production of "Jesus Christ Superstar" in April of the same year. In September, she released the single "Broken Heart," followed by the album "Gone Too Long" in June 2004.

In 2008, Charlotte Perrelli made a comeback to Eurovision, winning Melodifestivalen for the second time with her song "Hero." However, she only achieved 18th place at the Eurovision Song Contest 2008 in Belgrade. Despite this, her album "Hero" reached the top of the Swedish charts.

Later Career and Personal Life
After Eurovision, Charlotte Perrelli collaborated with composer Robert Wells and appeared in the show "Rhapsody in Rock." She also performed at the Summer Olympics in Beijing. In China, her album "Hero" was released. In November, she released her album "Rimfrostjul" and performed on various shows, including Sommarkrysset, Victoriadagen, and Nationaldagen.

In 2008, Charlotte Perrelli served as a judge on the show "Idol." She continued to perform Christmas concerts throughout November and December. In 2009, she planned to go on tour in Minsk and Beijing.

Charlotte Perrelli is married to Italian restaurateur Nicola Ingrosso, the brother of Emilio Ingrosso, who was previously married to another successful Swedish singer, Pernilla Wahlgren. They reside in Stockholm and have two sons.
