Early Life and Education

Chin Hsiung Huang was born on October 16, 1976. He completed his early education at Taipei County Wenlin Elementary School and Taipei County Shulin Junior High School. He then attended National Foreign Experimental Chinese High School before pursuing a bachelor's degree in Chinese medicine and later a master's degree in sports training at Chinese Culture University.

Taekwondo Career

Huang emerged as a prominent taekwondo athlete, representing Chinese Taipei in numerous competitions. In 2000, he won a bronze medal at the Olympic Games in Sydney. Two years later, he secured a gold medal at the Asian Games in Busan.

The pinnacle of his taekwondo career came at the 2004 Summer Olympics in Athens. Huang captured a silver medal in the men's 68 kg weight class, earning him national recognition. He also won a bronze medal in the same event at the same games.

Political Career

Beyond his athletic pursuits, Huang also ventured into politics. He was elected to the Central Committee of the Kuomintang (KMT) in 2004 and subsequently became a member of the Sixth Legislative Yuan. He was re-elected in 2008 and served in the Seventh Legislative Yuan.
