Biography of Chloe Sutton

Chloe Sutton is an American swimmer and participant of the 2008 Olympics. Born on February 3, 1992 in Vandenberg, California, she is one of the youngest and most experienced swimmers in the United States. Chloe's father serves in the United States Air Force, which has led her family to move around 11 times throughout her life.

Early Years and Swimming Career

At the age of seven, Chloe and her family relocated to Colorado Springs, where she began swimming. Initially, she had a fear of water as the sport was new to her, but after a few months, she gained confidence and became proficient in the water. Within a few years, Chloe became one of the fastest and most talented swimmers in her school. Many teachers were amazed at how she achieved such remarkable results in such a short period of time. Additionally, during this time, Chloe also participated in ballet, soccer, and basketball.

After graduating from high school, Chloe enrolled at the University of Nebraska. Currently, she is a member of the "Mission Viejo" team, coached by Bill Rose. In 2005, Chloe participated in the World Championships, finishing 80th in the 800-meter freestyle and 44th in the 1500-meter freestyle.

Achievements and Olympic Dream

In 2006, Chloe Sutton won a gold medal at the Victorian State Championships. The following year, she achieved another impressive victory by winning a gold medal at the Pan Am Championships, surpassing more experienced athletes. In the same year, she placed third at the Open Water World Championship Trials. Chloe also won gold at the London World Cup and received a silver medal at the Seville World Cup. In 2008, she will compete in the Beijing Olympics, fulfilling her dream of participating in the prestigious event.
