In 2007, Chris became a champion of the 'HKFC Philips Lighting International Soccer Sevens' tournament, organized by the 'Hong Kong Football Club,' along with his teammates from 'Aston Villa.' After returning to 'Aston Villa,' he briefly played for 'Wycombe Wanderers F.C.' before moving to 'Lincoln City' from 2009 to 2010. During his time at 'Lincoln City,' Chris made approximately 20 appearances and scored 4 goals.

On November 13, 2010, Chris made his debut for the 'Aston Villa' first team in a match against 'Manchester United,' which ended in a draw. Just a week later, he appeared in a game against 'Blackburn Rovers,' which resulted in a 2-0 loss for 'Aston Villa.'

In 2014, Chris Herd started playing for the 'Bolton Wanderers' on loan. He also represented the Australian under-20 national team from 2009 and made his debut for the senior national team in 2014. His first match against Belgium ended in defeat, but he secured his first victory in a game against Saudi Arabia.

A Versatile Player
