Early Life and CareerCory Joseph, a native of Toronto, Canada, began playing basketball at a young age. He excelled in high school, leading the Pickering High School to two provincial championships. In 2009, he joined the University of Texas at Austin and quickly became a key player for the Texas Longhorns.
NBA Career
Joseph was drafted 29th overall by the San Antonio Spurs in the 2011 NBA Draft. He spent four seasons with the Spurs, winning an NBA championship in 2014. During his time in San Antonio, Joseph developed into a reliable point guard, known for his quickness, defensive skills, and ability to run the offense effectively.
In 2015, Joseph signed with the Toronto Raptors, where he played for three seasons. He helped the Raptors reach the Eastern Conference Finals in 2016 and 2017. In 2018, he joined the Indiana Pacers, where he has been a consistent contributor and a vital part of their rotation.
International Career
Joseph has been a key member of the Canadian national team since 2010. He has played in numerous international competitions, including the FIBA World Cup, the Pan American Games, and the Olympic Games. In 2015, he helped Canada win a gold medal at the Pan American Games.
