Early Life and EducationThomas Christopher Parnell was born on February 5, 1967, in Memphis, Tennessee. His passion for acting began in school productions, where he was recognized as "Most Talented" by his Germantown High School classmates in 1985.
After graduating, Parnell pursued a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Drama from the North Carolina School of Arts in Winston-Salem. He then honed his skills at The Berkshire Theatre in Stockbridge and the Alley Theatre in Houston, Texas.

"Saturday Night Live" Breakout
Parnell's comedic brilliance was noticed by "Saturday Night Live" casting directors, who invited him to an audition in New York City. He became a cast member for the 1998-1999 season, where he showcased his impeccable celebrity impersonations, including Tom Brokaw.

Film and Television Success
