Christian Smith was born on October 31, 1983, in Kansas, USA. He is a professional American athlete, specializing in middle-distance running. Smith was one of the top runners in high school, constantly participating in various tournaments and competitions, bringing home victories and high titles. In addition to running, he also played basketball and football, but eventually had to give up these sports due to lack of time for his main training.
Early Career
In 2002, Smith graduated from high school and enrolled at the University of Kansas. He began participating professionally in competitions in 2002, with his best time in the 800 meters being 1:50.65. In 2003, he finished fourth in the "Big 12 Outdoors" competition, improving his previous time to 1:48.66.
Continued Success
In 2004, Smith competed in the "Olympic Trials" and finished fifth. He also secured second place in the 800 meters at the "Big 12 Outdoor" competition.
