Early Life and CareerKarl-Heinz Völler was born on January 1, 1963, in Hanau, West Germany. He began his professional football career with 1860 Munich in 1983.
Success with Bayer Leverkusen
In 1991, Völler joined Bayer Leverkusen and quickly became a key player for the club. During his time with Leverkusen, he helped the team win the DFB-Pokal in 1993.
Paris Saint-Germain Interlude
After the 1997-98 season, Völler moved to French giants Paris Saint-Germain. He spent one season in Paris before returning to Germany.
Title Triumph with Borussia Dortmund
In 1999, Völler made the switch to Borussia Dortmund. He played a significant role in the club's Bundesliga title triumph in 2002.
