Christopher Bourque

Ryan Bourque is an American professional ice hockey player who currently plays for the Hershey Bears of the American Hockey League (AHL). He is the son of Hall of Famer and former Boston Bruins legend Ray Bourque.
Early Life and Career
Ryan Bourque was born on October 11, 1984, in Boston, Massachusetts. He played college hockey at Boston University, where he was a two-time All-American and helped the Terriers win back-to-back NCAA Championships in 2009 and 2010.
AHL Success
After graduating from Boston University, Bourque joined the Hershey Bears, the AHL affiliate of the Washington Capitals. He quickly became a key player for the Bears, helping them win the Calder Cup in 2006, 2009, and 2010.
Individual Accolades
In addition to his team success, Bourque has also earned numerous individual accolades. He was awarded the John B. Sollenberger Trophy as the AHL's leading scorer in 2012 and was named to the AHL All-Star Game twice (2009 and 2012). In 2016, he won the Les Cunningham Award as the AHL's Most Valuable Player.
NHL Career
Despite his success in the AHL, Bourque has only played sporadically in the NHL. He has appeared in 36 games for the Washington Capitals and the Pittsburgh Penguins, scoring 4 goals and adding 6 assists.
