Claire Trevor, born on March 8, 1910, was a talented American actress who was able to leave a lasting impression as the "scheming seductress". She grew up in Brooklyn, her parents being ordinary workers who disappeared into their sewing workshop from early morning till late at night. Claire Trevor graduated from the American Academy of Dramatic Arts and began taking her first steps in theater and film.

Early Career

In 1932, Trevor made a name for herself on Broadway. By 1933, she could already be seen on television screens. Some of her early television works included roles in the films "Crazy Game", "Jimmy and Sally", "Wild Gold", "Bravo, Baby", and "Elinor Norton".

In 1937, Claire Trevor achieved her first significant success. Her performance in the film "Dead End" earned her an Oscar nomination, bringing her worldwide recognition.
