Clara Rugaard-Larsen was born on December 5, 1997, in Hellerup, Denmark. As the daughter of a Danish Royal Navy officer, Rugaard spent her early childhood traveling with her family. She eventually settled in London, where she pursued her education at the London College of Art. Rugaard's artistic journey began at a young age with performances in the Tivoli Theater in Italy and a lead role in the National Theater of Denmark's production of "Annie."
