Foray into the Entertainment Industry

Fate took a different turn in 1993 when Jacobsen-Derstine landed a role in the film "Rookie of the Year." This led to a part in the sequels "D2: The Mighty Ducks" and "D3: The Mighty Ducks," released in 1994 and 1996, respectively.
