Early Life and Education

Constantin Prezan, a Romanian general, received his military education in France. After completing his training, he joined the Romanian artillery corps.

Ascension through the Ranks

Prezan's exceptional abilities led him to hold the position of Chief of the Romanian General Staff on several occasions. These appointments included service from December 2, 1913, to April 1, 1914; April 1 to October 28, 1918; and April 1, 1920, to May 8, 1923.

Command during World War I

In 1916, during World War I, Prezan led the 6th Infantry Division. His leadership skills were further tested when he commanded the 1st Romanian Army from June 11 to July 30, 1917, as part of the Russian Romanian Front.
