Corinne Charby, a French actress, model, and pop singer, was born on July 12, 1960, in Paris, France. She grew up in France and began a successful career as a fashion model after graduating from a French high school in the late 1970s. Charby appeared on the covers of fashion magazines such as "Elle" and "Lui" and participated in various fashion shows for major fashion houses.

Early Career as a Model

In the early 1980s, Charby began to pursue a career in the film industry. Her first and perhaps most famous role was Marie Benz in the 1981 crime comedy "Les Malheurs d'Alfred" directed by Francis Veber, starring Pierre Richard and Gérard Depardieu. In 1982, the actress appeared in Philippe Clair's comedy "Plus beau que moi, tu meurs" and the following year, she played Cri-Cri in the film "Rebelote."

However, in 1984, her short acting career came to an end when Charby portrayed a prostitute named Josie in Michael Schock's film "Un été d'enfer" alongside Thierry Lhermitte. Despite her efforts to secure prominent roles, Charby's luck in the film industry was not favorable.
