Early Career and Arsenal Youth

Craig Eastmond was born in London's Wandsworth district and began his footballing journey at Millwall's youth system, playing in central midfield. At the age of 11, he joined Arsenal's academy and initially played as a right-back.

In 2009, Eastmond enjoyed a remarkable season with Arsenal's youth team, winning both the FA Youth Cup and the Premier Academy League. His performances impressed manager Arsène Wenger, who saw his qualities as better suited to a holding midfield role.

Professional Breakthrough

On June 30, 2009, Eastmond signed a professional contract with Arsenal alongside three other young players. Wenger's belief in his abilities was evident, as he handed Eastmond his first-team debut in the League Cup against Liverpool on October 28, 2009. Eastmond played a crucial role in Arsenal's opening goal in the 2-1 victory.

Eastmond's Premier League debut came on December 30, 2009, as a late substitute in a 4-1 win over Portsmouth. He made his first start on January 17, 2010, against Bolton Wanderers, forming a midfield trio alongside Cesc Fàbregas and Abou Diaby. Senior Career at Arsenal
