Biography of Dana Sensenig

Dana Sensenig, born on November 20, 1984, in Lancaster, is an American athlete known for her talent and promising career in field hockey. She comes from a family of athletes, with two sisters and one brother. Dana attended Cocalico High School and later enrolled at Old Dominion University.

During her time at Cocalico High School, Dana excelled in sports and was awarded the title of Best Athlete of the Year. At Old Dominion University, she continued to showcase her skills in field hockey. In 2003, she became a member of the CAA All-Tournament Team and received several awards from the National Field Hockey Coaches Association Academic All-American Squad.

In 2004, Dana played for the NFHCA Third Team All-America CAA and All-Tournament Team, and the following year, she was included in the NFHCA Second Team All-America. Throughout her career, she demonstrated her abilities by playing for various teams of different levels, leading to rapid victories.

In 2007, Dana participated in the Pan American Games in Rio de Janeiro and also competed in the AtaHolding Champions Challenge in Baku. Currently, she is diligently preparing for the upcoming 2008 Olympics in Beijing as a member of the United States national team. Dana and her teammates are fully committed to representing their country with pride and meeting the high expectations placed upon them.

In addition to field hockey, Dana also excels in basketball and enjoys participating in track and field events. Despite her diverse sporting interests, she devotes most of her time to field hockey, especially as the Olympics draw nearer. Outside of sports, Dana has a passion for reading and spending time with her family, although it can be challenging to find free time with her busy training schedule.
