Early Life and Rise to Professionalism

At the tender age of two, the young prodigy embarked on his tennis journey. By 2004, he had officially launched his professional career, ready to conquer the courts.

ATP Breakthroughs

In July 2004, he made his mark on the ATP Tour with his debut in Kitzbühel. A month later, he claimed his first ATP Challenger Series victory. His consistent performances continued in 2005 with a triumph at the ITF Futures event and his Grand Slam debut at the French Open.

Challenger Dominance and ATP Quarterfinal Debut

2007 marked two more Futures tournament wins, followed by two Challenger titles in 2008. His breakthrough came in February 2009 when he reached his first ATP quarterfinal in Acapulco. By the end of the year, he had added two more Challenger victories to his tally.

Grand Slam Progress and Challenger Victory Streak

In August 2010, he surged ahead at the US Open, reaching the third round. He continued his winning streak in February 2011 by reaching the doubles final of the Brasil Open alongside Pablo Andújar.
