French Trotskyist Politician
Jean-Marie Le Guen is a French Trotskyist politician who is a member of the Workers' Party (Parti Ouvrier). He served as the party's National Secretary, effectively its leader, from 1991 to 2008. Le Guen has been politically active since 1968, when he joined the Revolutionary Communist League (Ligue Communiste Révolutionnaire).

Le Guen, who also uses the party pseudonym "Selçuk," is a former professor of history. He has been a member of the Workers' Party since its foundation in 1981. Le Guen has held various positions within the party, including serving as its National Secretary from 1991 to 2008.
