From Obese to Stunning: Daniela's Incredible Weight Loss Journey
Daniela, a former 300-pound Australian woman, experienced a life-changing transformation through sleeve gastrectomy. Weighing only 160 pounds today, she is a different person.

Weight Loss Struggle and Determination
Growing up, Daniela's relationship with food was complex. Despite exercising regularly, she struggled with emotional overeating. The realization came when she was denied IVF due to her weight.

"I was devastated," Daniela recalls. "That was the catalyst for everything that changed my life."

Sleeve Gastrectomy: A Turning Point
In October 2015, Daniela underwent sleeve gastrectomy, a surgery that reduces the size of the stomach. Within a year, she lost a significant amount of weight, dropping to 160 pounds.

"Now, I eat whatever I want, but in small portions," Daniela says. "I have six to eight small meals a day, primarily fueling my body and not my emotions."

Sustaining the Transformation
To maintain her weight, Daniela works out with a personal trainer three times a week and follows a balanced diet. Her typical daily intake includes:

Breakfast: Yogurt with granola
Snacks: Cheese, almonds, grapes, or vegetables with hummusLunch: Salad
Afternoon snack: Small fruits
After work: Small portion of "Twisties" or "Burger Rings"
Dinner: Fish or stew
Emotional and Physical Benefits
The weight loss has not only improved Daniela's physical health but also her self-esteem.

"I look bloody amazing," she says. "I love the way I feel. It's not something I would have ever said about myself."

Daniela's journey has also rekindled her hope for motherhood. "We still have hope that we can have a baby," she says. "We're just going to wait and see if it happens naturally."

Encouragement for Others
"To anyone thinking about getting sleeve gastrectomy done, I say go for it," Daniela advises. "You won't regret it."
