Rudy Eugene, also known as the Miami Cannibal, was an American man involved in a shocking incident that occurred on May 26, 2012, on MacArthur Causeway in Miami. Cameras near the Miami Herald building captured footage of an unidentified naked man consuming the face of his still-living victim, Ronald Poppo, a 65-year-old homeless man. When ordered to stop by the police, Eugene only growled in response. It took six shots to finally stop him. Poppo survived the attack but suffered severe facial injuries.
