Biography of Darya Mayorova
Darya Mayorova is an actress and TV presenter. She had dreamed of becoming an actress since childhood. After finishing school, she fulfilled her dream by enrolling in the Shchukin Theater School in 1989.
After completing her first year, Darya went to Vladimir with her father. There she met director Karen Shakhnazarov. At that time, he was 38 years old and Darya was 19. As Karen Georgievich later admitted, when he saw Dasha, he decided: "Here comes my wife." However, Darya herself admits: "I didn't feel the same way, I thought that the relationship was developing gradually."
Shortly after their meeting, Karen Shakhnazarov confirmed Darya for the role of Princess Olga in the historical-psychological drama "The Regicide". A year later, Darya appeared in the political drama "Three August Days" by American director Young. Unfortunately, Russian viewers never got to see this film as the American cinemas took it back to their homeland immediately after filming.
After graduating from the Shchukin Theater School, Darya Mayorova stepped away from theatrical and cinematic activities. She married Karen Shakhnazarov and gave birth to two sons - Ivan and Vasily. This marriage was Karen Georgievich's third.
Shortly after, Darya Mayorova was invited to TVC channel as the host of the Morning Channel "Mood", where she still works to this day.
