Early Life and Career

Dario Del Fabro, an Italian central defender, was born on March 24, 1995, in the small Sardinian town of Alghero. His football journey began at a local club, and at the age of 13, he signed a youth contract with Serie A side Cagliari.

Youth International Career

From the age of 15, Del Fabro's exceptional talent earned him call-ups to various Italian youth national teams from U-16 to U-19.

Professional Debut and Cagliari Career

At 17, Del Fabro made his professional debut for Cagliari in the Coppa Italia against a lower-league opposition. Two months later, he made his Serie A debut, coming on as a substitute in a match against Juventus. Despite his promising start, Del Fabro struggled to break into the first team, only making six appearances over two seasons.

Loan Spells

In August 2014, Del Fabro was loaned out to Pescara in Serie B, but the deal was terminated days later at the insistence of Cagliari's former owner, Massimo Cellino. Subsequently, he was loaned to Leeds United with an option to buy. However, Del Fabro failed to make a significant impact at Leeds, playing mostly for the club's reserves.
