Polish Midfielder: Grzegorz Krychowiak
Grzegorz Krychowiak is a Polish footballer who plays as a midfielder for the Polish club Lech Poznań. He has also represented the Polish national team.
Career
Krychowiak began his football career in his hometown. In 1999, he joined the club Amica and made his debut in the Polish Ekstraklasa on April 15, 2000, against Ruch Radzionków. He spent six years at the club before being sold to the popular Polish club Wisła Kraków. During the 2007/08 season, he won the Polish Championship with Wisła.
International Career
On June 26, 2008, Krychowiak was sold to the French club Auxerre for €2,225,000. He made his debut for the Polish national team on November 7 in a match against the United States (1:1). Krychowiak was a member of the squad that participated in the 2006 FIFA World Cup and the 2008 UEFA European Championship. After a friendly match against the Ukrainian national team (0:1), Krychowiak, Artur Boruc, and Radosław Majewski were suspended from the Polish national team for violating team rules.
