Biography of Daria Soboleva
Daria Soboleva, an actress, was born on October 27, 1984, in Tallinn. She started her acting career in 1996 when she joined the youth theater group, TÜZ. During her time at TÜZ, she performed in over 500 children's plays, including "Pippi Longstocking," "Robinson Crusoe on a Desert Island," "Pippi Longstocking," "The Laughingstock," "Arabella, the Pirate's Daughter," "Mowgli," "The Ravine," and many more.
In 1999, Soboleva became a member of the Russian Youth Theater. She played leading roles in various plays such as "Spring," "Fallen Angels," "Romeo and Juliet," "The Dummy," "The Youth of Catherine II," "Trainspotting," "Morning Sacrifice," and others. With the theater, she travelled to numerous cities in Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Russia, and Ukraine, receiving numerous awards and diplomas for her performances.
Aside from her theater work, Soboleva also had a versatile career. She worked with the popular Estonian band "Gorod Snov," hosted radio and television shows, and performed in numerous concerts. In 2001, she portrayed the wife of Vertinsky in the beneficent play "Thank You for Love" by the Honored Artist of Estonia, V.G. Laptev. The play was based on Vertinsky's letters, notes, and songs.
In 2003, Soboleva joined the studio of the State Russian Drama Theater, starting from the second year. She appeared in plays such as "The Shepherdess and the Chimney Sweep" and "Ivanov." In 2004, she completed her studies at the Russian Humanitarian Gymnasium and subsequently enrolled in the Russian Academy of Theatre Arts (GITIS) in the workshop of S.B. Prokhanov.
