Biography of David Caruso

David Stephen Caruso was born on January 7, 1956, in Queens, New York, USA. He is an American film and television actor, best known for his role as Horatio Caine in the television series CSI: Miami.

Early Life and Education

Caruso was raised in a Catholic family and received his education in religious schools. He attended Our Lady Queen of Martyrs for elementary and middle school in Queens, and later Archbishop Molloy High School, from which he graduated in 1974.

Career

In 1987, Caruso was invited to play the lead role of Gene in the Broadway production of "The Outsiders." He gained prominence in the television industry with his role as Detective John Kelly in the series NYPD Blue, which he portrayed from 1993 to 1995.

Caruso's filmography includes a wide range of roles in both film and television. Some of his notable works include CSI: NY (2004-2008), CSI: Miami (2002-2008), Black Point (2001), Proof of Life (2000), Kiss of Death (1995), and King of New York (1990).

Personal Life
