Angarad Mary Rees was born on July 16, 1949, in Cardiff, Wales, United Kingdom. She was a Welsh actress, jewelry designer, and businesswoman. In 2004, Rees was awarded the Order of the British Empire.

Career
Rees had a successful career in the film industry, spanning 30 years from 1968 to 1998. She appeared in 47 films and television series during her acting career. Her debut in film was the role of a maid in an episode of the BBC series "The Month Game" in 1968, and her last film role was as Mary in the movie "Cromwell & Crisp" in 1998. After retiring from her acting career, Rees actively pursued her interests in business. She became a jewelry designer and also owned a pub named after herself in Pontypool, Wales.
Personal Life
Rees was married twice and had two children. Her first husband was Christopher Cazenove (1945-2010), an actor. They were married from 1973 to 1994 and had two sons together. Their sons were named Linford James Cazenove (born July 20, 1974 - died September 10, 1999 in a car accident at the age of 25) and Rhys William Cazenove (born in December 1976).
Her second husband (later widower) was David McAlpine, a member of the McAlpine construction empire. They were married from 2005 until her death in 2011. Unfortunately, Rees passed away in London on July 21, 2012, after a long battle with pancreatic cancer, just five days after her 63rd birthday.
