Professional Wrestling Career: Beginnings and Early WWF

Robert Maillet, also known as Kurrgan, formally debuted in the wrestling circuit as the Acadian Giant in the early 1990s. He made his first appearance on WWF television in 1991 as the Cajun Giant, defeating Bob Bradley in a dark match in Utica, New York. Throughout the early years, he wrestled under various pseudonyms, including Giant Goliath and Goliath El Gigante.

In 1997, Maillet signed with WWF alongside Jackie, forming the duo "Commission of Truth." Guided by the charismatic cult leader Jackie, the duo acted as heels, with Maillet utilizing the signature "Iron Claw" submission. After the dissolution of the group, Maillet continued wrestling under the simplified moniker Kurrgan. He later joined Jackie's new faction, "The Oddities," where they transformed into fan favorites.

Post-WWF Career and Notable Roles

Following his WWF run, Kurrgan continued his wrestling career, performing in various independent promotions and wrestling events. In addition to his wrestling pursuits, he also embarked on an acting career, landing notable roles in films such as "300" (2006), "Sherlock Holmes" (2009), "Pacific Rim" (2013), "Hercules" (2014), and "Deadpool 2" (2018).
