David Charvetwas born on May 15, 1972, in Lyon, France. He rose to fame with his roles in the hit television series "Baywatch" (1989) as lifeguard Matt Brody and "Melrose Place" (1992) as Craig Field.

Film Career

Charvet's success on television paved the way for his entry into feature films. He starred in the sports movie "Green Flash" (2008), playing Cameron Day, a promising basketball player who finds redemption on the volleyball court. In 2009, he worked on the cinematic release "Prisoners of the Sun," directed by Academy Award-winner Roger Christian. Charvet portrayed Doug Adler, an eccentric archeologist whose discovery awakens ancient Egyptian gods.

Television Breakthrough

Charvet's television debut came in "Baywatch," where he played the role of Matt Brody for three seasons. His popularity soared further with his appearances as Craig Field in "Melrose Place."
