David Gallagher was born on February 9, 1985, in New York. His parents divorced shortly after his birth, and his mother remarried. He has two half-sisters and two half-brothers.
Early Career
Like many Hollywood actors, David started acting at a young age. He made his first appearance in a commercial when he was just one and a half years old. In 1993, he made his film debut in "Look Who's Talking Now," playing the son of John Travolta's character.
The following year, David appeared on stage in a New York theater production of "A Christmas Carol," becoming the youngest actor to portray Scrooge. His talent as an actor was recognized by both the audience and critics.
Breakthrough Role
In 1996, David began filming the popular family drama series "7th Heaven." The show quickly gained a large following, and David became an idol for millions of teenagers.
