As the third child and twin brother to Peter Paul, David's upbringing involved a strong emphasis on physical fitness. He excelled in American football and wrestling during his teenage years, building significant muscle mass.
Bodybuilding Career
Subsequently, Paul transitioned to bodybuilding, where his exceptional strength became evident. At 15 years old, weighing only 143 pounds, he bench-pressed 300 pounds. By his prime, he could lift an astounding 507 pounds using a reverse grip.
"The Metal House" and Gold's Gym
In the late 1970s, the Paul brothers established their gym, "The Metal House." Seeking greater opportunities, they relocated to California, the heart of bodybuilding. They trained at the famed Gold's Gym under the guidance of Peter Grimkowski.
Acting Success with "Twin Sitters"
From 1983 to 2005, the Paul brothers appeared in numerous films, with their most notable role being in the 1994 comedy "Twin Sitters." The lighthearted plot catapulted them to fame as the twin bodybuilders David and Peter Falcone.
