David Strickland was born in Long Island, New York, and later moved to Princeton, New Jersey with his family. Eventually, they settled in California. He began his acting career in the 1990s, with early roles in films such as "Mad About You," "Roseanne," "The Getaway," "Dave's World," "What the Early Bird Gets," "Phobophilia: The Love of Fear," "Object of Obsession," and "Post Cards from America."

Role in "Suddenly Susan"

One of David Strickland's most notable roles was that of reporter Todd Stites in the comedy series "Suddenly Susan." He gained recognition for his portrayal of this character and became a popular actor in the industry.

Tragic End

Despite being a talented actor, David Strickland often received roles in supporting or secondary parts. He had excellent professional skills and was known for his dedication to his work. The autopsy revealed that there were no traces of drugs in his system, and it was also discovered that Strickland had made previous suicide attempts. In the final months of his life, he had been in a close relationship with actress Tiffany-Amber Thiessen, known for her role in the series "Beverly Hills 90210."
