Biography of Davide Rigon

Davide Rigon is an Italian racing driver who has achieved success in various motorsport categories. He began his career in 2003, competing in the Formula BMW ADAC series. From there, he moved on to the Italian Formula Renault and Italian Formula 3 championships.

In 2005, Rigon won the Formula Azzurra title, showcasing his talent and potential. The following year, he finished as the runner-up in the Italian Formula 3 championship, further solidifying his reputation as a skilled driver.

Rigon's breakthrough came in 2007 when he won the Euroseries 3000, securing victories in three races. He also represented Italy in the 2007-08 A1 Grand Prix season, displaying his national pride and commitment to his country.

In 2008, Rigon joined the BMS Scuderia Italia team for the FIA GT championship in the GT2 class. Additionally, he participated in the International Master Formula series and made his debut in the Superleague Formula, representing Beijing Guoan. Despite initial doubts about Beijing Guoan's performance, Rigon proved skeptics wrong by winning the championship with three victories.

During the off-season, Rigon joined Trident Racing for the fourth round of the 2008-09 GP2 Asia season in Qatar. He earned his first points in the final round in Bahrain, finishing in seventh place. Notably, he secured a third-place finish in the last race, concluding the championship in 17th position.

Continuing his partnership with Trident Racing, Rigon competed in the 2009 GP2 season. However, after four rounds, he was replaced by Rodolfo Gonzalez, despite outperforming his teammate Ricardo Teixeira in every race.

Rigon later returned to the Superleague Formula, this time representing Olympiacos. Despite facing new challenges, his determination and skills remained evident.
