Embracing a Unique Fast
Hall's novel fasting approach follows an earlier attempt at a four-day water fast. However, he acknowledges the stark contrast between water and beer: "Beer has carbohydrates, vitamins, and minerals. Water is...water." Despite his past endurance accomplishments, this beer-centric challenge fills him with trepidation.
