Early Career

Demy de Zeeuw, a Dutch footballer, began his career at AGOVV Apeldoorn. His talent caught the attention of Go Ahead Eagles, who subsequently signed him.

Youthful Success

In 2006, de Zeeuw was a member of the Netherlands under-21 team that triumphed at the European Championship.

AZ Alkmaar

In August 2006, AZ acquired de Zeeuw from Go Ahead Eagles for €100,000, despite interest from Groningen. He signed a four-year contract with AZ.

Ajax

After three seasons at AZ, de Zeeuw moved to Ajax. He played a key role in Ajax's Eredivisie title win and faced his future club, Spartak Moscow, in the Europa League round of 16.

Spartak Moscow

On July 5, 2011, de Zeeuw completed his transfer to Spartak Moscow. He signed a three-year contract for a reported €6 million.
