Early Life and EducationIn 1998, Dennis Shafranik enrolled at the Gubkin Russian State University of Oil and Gas, graduating in 2004. Simultaneously, he studied at the London School of Economics. In 2011, he obtained an MBA from INSEAD. Furthermore, Shafranik holds the CFA Institute's professional certification.
Career Beginnings
Shafranik began his career in 2002 in the investment banking division of Barclays. Over nine years, he rose to the position of Vice President and acquired his initial capital. In 2009, he founded the investment company ERMAK Group.

In July 2022, Concentric's second investment fund, Concentric 02, was launched, with a focus on Seed+ investments in automation solutions across vital economic sectors.
