He is the great-grandson of renowned jazz musician and human rights activist Sally Kaye Rosemont and the grandson of philosophy professor Henry Rosemont. Desmond has a twin brother, Drew Aldridge, who also pursues a career in entertainment, born 47 seconds after him.
From a young age, Desmond was drawn to acting, actively participating in school and community theater productions. At the age of 19, he received his first paid acting gig at a local amusement park.
Pursuing a Dream
After graduating high school, Desmond worked as an actor in Maryland and Florida for four years. At the age of 23, he decided to move to New York City to further his career. Without an agent, he tirelessly pursued auditions.
