Early Life and FamilyDestiny Chukunyere was born in August 2002 in Birkirkara, Malta. Her musical talent is said to have emerged from her family's rhythmic and melodic lineage. Her father, Ndubisi Chukunyere, a Nigerian footballer, played for various Maltese clubs and represented the national team.

In 2014, Destiny competed in the Festival Kanzunetta Indipendenza, securing third place with her original song "Festa t'Ilwien." This success ignited her professional career, leading to performances at the Asterisks Festival in Macedonia and the SanRemo Junior competition in Italy.
