Biography of Diana Morozova
Diana Morozova is a Russian actress, best known for her roles in both film and theater. She began her acting career while studying at the Russian Academy of Theatre Arts (RATI). During this time, she appeared in a small role as Yulia in the television series "Adjutants of Love." However, she considers her true debut to be her role as Daisy-Fraser Grant in Valery Pendrakovskiy's film "Running on Waves."

Morozova completed her studies at RATI in 2005, under the tutelage of Alexey Borodin. In the same year, she was accepted into the troupe of the Russian Academic Youth Theater. Within the theater, Morozova has performed in various productions, including "Think of Us" as the Fairy of Yesterday, "Cinderella" as Anna, "The Idiot" as Vera Lebedeva, "Martin Eden" as Ruth, "Invitation to the Execution" as Polina, "Suicide" as Maria Lukyanovna, "Erast Fandorin" as the First Lady, "Shore of Utopia. Part 1. Journey" as Alexandra, daughter of Alexander Bakunin, "Shore of Utopia. Part 2. Shipwreck" as Maria Ogareva, wife of Nikolai Ogarev, and "Shore of Utopia. Part 3. Castaways" as Emilia Johns, wife of Ernst Johns. She also appeared as Mary in "Scarlet Sails."

Her breakthrough in film came when the director of "Running on Waves," Valery Pendrakovskiy, saw Morozova's photo shoot well before the filming began. Initially, he believed that she looked too old for the role of Daisy. However, after an extensive search for other actresses, Pendrakovskiy returned to Morozova and reevaluated her photo shoot. He realized that she was exactly what he had been looking for all along.

Pendrakovskiy's film was not a direct adaptation of Alexander Green's famous work, but rather a loose interpretation inspired by several of the author's novels and stories. The director aimed to create a film that would appeal to young people. The combination of stunning cinematography, impressive musical numbers performed by artists such as Valery Kipelov, Vyacheslav Butusov, and the band "Moral Code," as well as the excellent casting of actors including Alexey Petrenko, Andrey Birin, Yevgeny Kulakov, and Artem Mazunov, all contributed to the film's appeal to audiences.
Besides her work in film and theater, Diana Morozova also appeared in the television series "Natural Selection" in 2010.
