In collaboration with Roland Romanelli and Yannick Top, Marouani formed the electronic group Space. Their album "Magic Fly" became an instant hit, reaching the second spot on the UK Singles chart. The group's unique space-themed performances, where they played their instruments dressed in space suits, added to their popularity.

After leaving Space, Marouani continued his solo career under the project name "Paris-France-Transit." He released albums such as "Le Gagnant," "Seul Dans la Ville," and the rock opera "Le Reve de Mai." Marouani also won the right to use the name "Space" and created the cosmic opera "Space Opera."

In recent years, Marouani has focused on concert performances and composing music for other artists. He released the album "Symphonic Space Dream," combining electronic music with symphonic orchestra sound. Marouani collaborated with over 150 musicians from the St. Petersburg Symphony Orchestra for this album.

In his personal life, Marouani is married to his wife Rima, and they have three children. His eldest son, Sebastien, is a sound engineer who works on his father's projects. Marouani is also a grandfather to Sebastien's daughter, Emma.

Marouani is known for his love of nature and enjoys skiing in the mountains during the winter and spending time by the sea in the summer. He is also an avid gardener and often cooks meals for his family and guests. Marouani previously had a Labrador named Cesar, who was a constant companion during his tours but passed away after a long illness.

In recent years, Marouani has been involved in a legal dispute with Russian singer Philip Kirkorov over alleged plagiarism of his song "Symphonic Space Dream." Despite the controversy, Marouani continues to visit Russia for concerts and has a strong fanbase in the country.

Currently, Marouani and Space are scheduled to tour Russia, Ukraine, Belarus, Georgia, and Armenia in 2018.
