Early Life and Club CareerDiego Reyes, a renowned Mexican footballer, was born into the world of soccer at the youth academy of Club América in Mexico City. His professional debut came on April 25, 2010, where he showcased his skills for his club's first team in the Mexican league. A year later, on April 17, 2011, he made his mark on the scoreboard with his first goal. After gaining prominence, Reyes transferred to FC Porto in Portugal on December 17, 2012, but his debut with the club was delayed until the summer of 2013. In 2015, he embarked on a loan spell at Real Sociedad, where he spent the 2015-2016 season.
International Career
Reyes's international career began in 2008, when he represented Mexico's U-17 team at the FIFA U-17 World Cup and the South American Championship. His contributions continued in 2010-2011 with the U-20 team, where he stood out as a bronze medalist at the 2011 FIFA U-20 World Cup and a winner at the CONCACAF U-20 Championship. Since 2011, Reyes has been an integral part of Mexico's Olympic team, earning a gold medal at the 2011 Pan American Games and a coveted gold medal at the 2012 London Olympics, where he played in all six matches.
