Carlo Ancelotti is an Italian former professional football player and current coach. He was born on June 10, 1959, in Reggiolo, Italy. Ancelotti had a successful career as a midfielder, playing for several Italian clubs including Roma, Milan, and Parma. He won numerous titles as a player, including three Serie A titles and four Champions League titles with Milan.

After retiring from playing in 1992, Ancelotti began his coaching career. He started as an assistant coach at AC Reggiana and later became the head coach of the same club. He then moved on to coach Parma and led the team to back-to-back UEFA Cup titles in 1995 and 1999.

In 2001, Ancelotti took charge of Milan, where he achieved great success. He won the Champions League in 2003 and 2007, as well as the Serie A title in 2004. Under his guidance, Milan became one of the most dominant teams in Europe.
