Early Career: Argentina and Ferrocarril Urquiza
Diego Abdían's football journey began on his native soil in Argentina. From 2004 to 2005, he represented Ferrocarril Urquiza, a club competing in Primera C, the fourth tier of Argentinian football.
Arrival in Andorra and Success with San Julià
In 2007, Abdían made the move to Andorra, joining San Julià. During his time with the club, he experienced success both domestically and internationally. In the 2007/08 season, San Julià finished as runners-up in the Andorran league and won the Copa Constitució (Andorran Cup). The following season, the club captured the league title, marking Abdían's first major triumph.
European Adventure: Cup Competitions
Abdían had the opportunity to showcase his abilities on the European stage during his stint with San Julià. He participated in the UEFA Intertoto Cup in 2007, as well as in the UEFA Cup and UEFA Champions League qualifiers in subsequent seasons.
Transfer to Lusitanos and Santa Coloma
In 2010, Abdían moved to Lusitanos, before joining Santa Coloma in January 2011. With Santa Coloma, he continued to compete in European competitions and made his mark in the Andorran league.
