Ditmar Eberle, an Austrian architect, co-founded the architectural firm Baumschlager-Eberle with Carlo Baumschlager.

Early Life and Education

Eberle graduated from the Vienna University of Technology in 1978. After working in Tehran for two years, he became a founding member of the Vorarlberger Baukünstler (Vorarlberg Builders) in 1979.

In 1984, Eberle and Carlo Baumschlager established their architectural bureau. Together, they have won over 35 national and international competitions. Since 1999, Eberle has taught architecture at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology (ETH) Zurich. He also heads the center for housing and sustainable urban development, one of the few institutes worldwide dedicated to researching residential construction.
