Early Career

Dmitry Zhukov embarked on his refereeing journey in 1996, officiating matches in the Donetsk Oblast Regional Football Championship. The following year, he advanced to the Ukrainian Amateur Championship.

Second and First League Stint

In 2001, Zhukov was promoted to the Second League, the third tier of Ukrainian football. In 2006, he made the jump to the First League.

Premier League Debut

Zhukov's exceptional performances earned him a spot in the Premier League, Ukraine's top football division, in 2009.
